Klovni Nick Miehe kävi valtiovarainministeriössä kertomassa 

huviveroon liittyvistä vaikeuksista vuonna 1976. 

Tanskalainen sirkusmuusikko Heinrich Miehe (1846–1915) ja hänen vaimonsa Louise (Schulz) (1849–1932) perustivat sirkuksen 1884. Neljä ensimmäistä vuotta se kulki nimellä Cirkus Thyland. Cirkus Miehe toimi vuoteen 1958 asti. Se oli aikanaan Tanskan suurin sirkus.

Tuo lehti-ilmoitus on Viipuri -lehdestä 2.10.1912. Sirkus Miehe kiersi jo 1800-luvun lopulla Norjassa ja Ruotsissa. Suomessa kierrettiin vain vuonna 1912. Seuraavana vuonna he kiersivät vielä Ruotsissa.

1950 Sirkus Sariolan mainosparaatissa Miehe-Steckel -ryhmän klovneja 

ajamassa vanhalla T-mallin Fordilla Shellin huoltoaseman kohdalla 

Hatanpään valtatiellä Tampereella.

Vuonna 1950 Sirkus Sariolassa hauskuttivat yleisöä klovnit Miehe-Steckel. Sirkus Finlandiassa esiintyi perustamisvuonna 1976 Nick Miehe & Comp. -niminen klovniryhmä. Sen kotimaaksi oli merkitty Tanska ja Saksa.

The Danish circus musician Heinrich Miehe (1846-1915) and his wife Louise (Schulz) (1849-1932) founded the circus in 1884. For the first four years it was known as the Circus Thyland. The Circus Miehe operated until 1958. It was once Denmark's largest circus. That newspaper announcement is from Vyborg Magazine October 2, 1912. Already in the late 19th century, the Circus Miehe toured Norway and Sweden. The only tour in Finland was in 1912. The following year they toured Sweden. In 1950 the clowns Miehe-Steckel entertained the audience at the Sirkus Sariola in Finland. In 1976 the clown group Nick Miehe & Comp were in Sirkus Finlandia. This group was from Denmark and Germany.
